This study demonstrates the high potential of current machine learning techniques to predict system-specific clinical outcome even for a disease as heterogeneous as stroke. This study demonstrates the high potential of current machine learning techniques to predict system-specific clinical outcome even for a disease as heterogeneous as stroke. The new tools, developed for the analysis of spatio-temporal activation patterns from fMRI data will be applied in future for the analysis of spatio-temporal signalling patterns.
