This study presents an approach for the fabrication of micro channels with  superhydrophobic (SH) properties of horizontal as well as vertical walls. The fabrication consists of 1) molding of microfluidic channels with the PDMS/PTFE composite material 2) isotropic plasma etching to uncover the PTFE particles leading to SH multi-scale roughness (159°±4° and 158°±3° for adv. and rec. contact angles, respectively). This material is used for nozzle fabrication for continuous micro drop dispensing.
