The mitochondrial proteome of the moss Physcomitrella patens

This review summarizes the current coverage of the mitochondrial proteome from the model moss species P. patens and highlights the involvement of mitochondrial proteins in signalling responses to stress, protein stability and organellar interaction hubs. Further, we emphasize the potential of moss mitochondria to study open questions in mitochondrial biology and interorganellar signalling.
