We combine Drosophila genetics with biochemical, cell biological, genomics, bioinformatics and mathematical approaches to understand properties, function, regulation and integration of signaling pathways during animal development.
We are particularly interested in the dynamics of morphogen signaling and wish to understand how signaling gradients are established, maintained and interpreted during tissue and organ development.
