BIOSS @ Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting 2014

During the annual conference at Lake Constance in the south of Germany 600 selected young scientists were given the opportunity to meet 37 Nobel laureates of physiology and medicine.

BIOSS Centre for Biological Signalling Studies was present as well: On the “Baden-Württemberg Boat Trip” the participants learned about the research at BIOSS. At a stand Johannes Kaiser, managing director at BIOSS, as well as junior professor Dr. Winfried Römer, Dr. Adrian Sprenger and Sabrina Wend presented the cluster of excellence and different projects at BIOSS. 18 of the young researchers that had been selected to participate in the meeting, visited the Signalhaus in Freiburg on the following day.

The Baden-Württemberg Boat Trip started at Lindau and was set to Mainau Island.

Research institutions of the Land Baden-Württemberg had the opportunity to display information on their research during this boat trip across Lake Constance.
