The analysis of proteomic large-scale data requires specialized software tools, tailored towards the requirements of certain approaches. Here we introduce an extension of an open-source solution for reverse phase protein array data. The R-package RPPanalyzer was designed for basic statistical and graphical analyses of proteomic data. The intention was, that experimentalists themselves can gain first insights into data quality as well as results, before consulting statisticians for advanced analyses.
