Welcome to the Signalhaus Freiburg

BIOSS moved into its new headquarters, Signalhaus Freiburg, in June 2012 after 2 1/2 years of construction. A model of energy efficiency, this modern new building with 2,927 square metres of floor space brings the fields of signalling research and synthetic biology even closer together, uniting BIOSS’s scientists, administrative staff and the Core Facilities Signalling Factory and Technology Platform Robotics – a centre providing biological materials and methodological expertise to researchers – under one roof.
